Context
The client was a private dental clinic in Wrocław. Due to the confidentiality of our cooperation, we do not disclose the company name, the domain, or any details that would make it easy to identify. What we can show is the campaign mechanics, how we measured the impact, and the results we achieved in 3 months.
The clinic had a stable patient base, strong reviews and recognition in its part of the city, but acquiring new appointments depended heavily on ads and referrals. Previously, it had worked with a large marketing agency in Poland, and after analysing inbound query sources it decided to focus more on AI visibility. That is why it came to TakeLink: it needed external, local signals that would be readable not only by Google, but also by models like ChatGPT.
Organic Google results brought in traffic, but were not enough to drive a steady increase in consultations. On top of that, a new decision channel had appeared: patients started asking ChatGPT for the best dental clinic in their city. The monthly campaign budget was PLN 5,000 (around EUR 1,150), and for the local Wrocław market that was enough to build brand visibility around the most important queries.
In local medical services, visibility no longer ends with classic SEO. The user often asks an AI assistant for a recommendation, and the model assembles its answer from web signals: articles, rankings, brand mentions, reviews, service descriptions and local context.
The problem
The biggest challenge was not the quality of the clinic itself. The issue was that Google and AI tools had too few external, credible signals confirming its position as one of the best local options. The brand was rated highly by patients, but it appeared too rarely in independent guide and ranking content.
- local queries were dominated by aggregators, directories and large medical portals
- the clinic had a limited number of high-quality mentions outside its own site
- the on-site content did not answer enough of the questions patients ask before a first visit
- AI assistants did not have enough consistent sources to point to the clinic frequently in their answers
Strategy
We built the campaign around two goals: improving classic SEO visibility and increasing the chance of the brand appearing in AI-generated answers. The foundation was our Polish domain inventory available in TakeLink: portals and blogs with organic traffic that let us safely build local context around dentistry, Wrocław and the choice of a trusted clinic.
We did not rely only on links. Contextual mentions, rankings and guide articles, plus activity in Facebook groups and presence in Reddit threads about choosing a dentist, were just as important. We treated those channels as an E-E-A-T layer: signals of experience, authentic recommendations and brand presence in natural discussions.
1. TakeLink Polish domain inventory
The first layer of the campaign was based mainly on our Polish blog domains available in the TakeLink panel. We picked sites that fit the topic of health, lifestyle, family, local services and consumer guides. As a result, links and mentions did not look like detached SEO publications, but like part of a natural process of choosing a specialist.
Links pointed to content that answered specific patient intents: implants, root canal treatment, aesthetic dentistry, the first consultation, and emergency dental help in Wrocław.
2. Expert mentions without aggressive selling
The second layer focused on credibility. We published educational articles in which the clinic appeared as an example of a local provider with a specific specialisation. Some publications included a link, others were brand mentions only. That kept the profile natural and made it more useful to AI models.
3. Rankings on blog domains
The third layer covered rankings and roundups built around questions like: which dental clinic in Wrocław is the best, where to get implants, how to pick a good dentist, and what to look at when choosing a clinic. We do not name the domains in this case study, but every publication ran on real blog sites with organic traffic.
4. Facebook and Reddit as trust signals
Beyond our portals, we used Facebook groups, because local discussions and recommendations complement very well the signals AI models can take into account when answering user questions. In parallel we engaged in Reddit threads about dentists, dental treatment and choosing a clinic. The point was not to spam the brand name, but to build E-E-A-T through substantive answers, real selection criteria and natural local context.
| Area | Action | Budget | Result after 3 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| TakeLink Polish domains | Articles, links and mentions on blog portals | PLN 5,000 / month | +38% visits from local search |
| GEO / AIO | Mentions inside guide articles | within budget | +71% queries inspired by ChatGPT |
| Rankings | Clinic rankings and roundups | within budget | More requests for higher-value treatments |
| Facebook and Reddit | Local discussions and substantive answers | within budget | +44% revenue in 3 months |
The publications that worked best did not sound like ads. Instead of repeating the clinic name, we built context: location, type of procedure, experience, patient reviews, consultation availability, questions from local groups and a comparison of selection criteria.
Results
After 3 months of the campaign, the clinic recorded 44% revenue growth versus the baseline period. The growth did not come only from more site visits. Quality of traffic mattered more: more people arrived already past the comparison stage and asked more specific questions about consultations, treatment cost and available appointment dates.
- revenue grew by 44% within 3 months of the campaign launch
- a monthly budget of PLN 5,000 (around EUR 1,150) was enough to build visibility on the local Wrocław market
- traffic from local queries grew by 38%, especially on comparison and service queries
- the number of leads where patients named ChatGPT as their source of inspiration grew by 71%
- the clinic started to appear more often in the context of questions about the best dental clinic in Wrocław
- the volume of inquiries about higher-value treatments grew, especially implants and aesthetic dentistry
We do not treat GEO and AIO as a magic trick. AI models do not give guaranteed positions. You can, however, increase the probability of a brand appearing in answers by building consistent, repeatable and credible signals across many sources.
What worked best
- 1Combining links and mentions. Links alone strengthened SEO, but mentions helped AI models understand in what context the brand is recommended.
- 2The TakeLink Polish domain inventory. For a local clinic, the quality and context of Polish publications mattered more than a large international campaign.
- 3Social channels as an E-E-A-T complement. Facebook and Reddit allowed us to build more natural discussion, recommendation and user-experience signals.
- 4Rankings built around real patient questions. Roundups were not written for bots, they were written for people who actually compare clinics before the first contact.
- 5Local consistency. Wrocław was present in titles, headings, article context and service descriptions, so the local signal was clear.
- 6An anonymous but measurable campaign. We do not disclose the domains or the clinic name, but the results are based on analytics, contact form data and conversations with the front desk.
“The biggest change was that patients stopped reaching us only through ads. More and more often they said they had found us on Google, or that ChatGPT had pointed to us as one of the recommended clinics in Wrocław.”
Takeaway
In high customer-value local industries, like dentistry, visibility in Google and visibility in AI answers start to work together. Link building still builds authority, but only the combination of TakeLink Polish domains, quality mentions, rankings, Facebook and Reddit delivers the outcome users perceive as trust. In this case, a budget of PLN 5,000 per month translated into 44% revenue growth in 3 months.
